Arrived in Nairobi, Kenya
Our group of 33 landed late on the evening of June 22 but without any luggage. It is 4:30 pm on the afternoon of June 23 and we still are without our luggage. Pray it arrives here soon!
It was the last Saturday of September in 1970 during my first week in college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California that my life changed forever. For the first time I heard the "good news" about Jesus Christ. I was all ears as the speaker verbally explained what Jesus had done on the cross nearly 2,000 years ago. But there was more, Jesus had not just died He also rose from the dead! His resurrection demonstrates that His sacrifice was accepted by God the Father as the once for all time payment for sin. It was at this time that God brought me to himself as I accepted Christ's death on the cross as payment for my own sins. Now my life is His. My deepest desire is to continue to discover the joy of following after God and what is on God's Heart! My pursuit is Him and Him alone. Finishing my life by continuing to seek His view as My view is the ultimate great adventure. What you find here is just a part of this journey in knowing Him and making Him known (Mark 3:14).
"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer in The Knowledge of the Holy, p. 9.
Whether it is here or overseas God is working in the lives of people to bring them to Himself and develop them into multiplying disciples. There are a number of ways we can partner together in God's work!
First, become prayer partners. Intercessory prayer is one of God's primary means of impacting others. Becoming prayer warriors together for each other's ministry will bring great glory to God, energize His mission, and allow all that's on God's Heart to be done. You can become part of my prayer team by clicking on the "Followers" section below. You can let me know your prayer needs by clicking on "About Me" and sending me an e-mail about your ministry and needs.
Another way you can help is as a financial partner. Typically I only use these funds for overseas mission projects. However, I also have been able to supply ministry resources for students doing outreach and discipling others as well as help fund full-time missionaries and students across the world in their mission projects. If you would like to help with any of these projects and hear about how your gift was used please visit: https://give.ccci.org/give/View/0039156
